 Voters for a Vibrant Newton announces its endorsements for the September 12 preliminary elections for City Council. Based on their responses to its questionnaire, the Steering Committee of VVN voted unanimously to endorse Dan Gaynor for Ward 2 Councilor and Martha Bixby for Ward 6 Councilor. Both positions are being contested in 3-way races after incumbents decided not to stand for reelection.
Gaynor and Bixby provided answers consistent with the mission of the Voters for a Vibrant Newton PAC to keep Newton an open, welcoming city with vibrant village centers, environmentally sustainable living and a solid fiscal footing.
